Vanta, Drata and Secureframe pricing compared in one table

Short answer

Of the three, only Secureframe publishes a price: Fundamentals starts at $7,500/year for one framework. Vanta publishes four tiers with questionnaire allowances of 25 and 144 per year, and Drata publishes three plans with a 50 FTE cap on Foundation. Vanta and Drata both require a sales conversation for a price.

VENDOR PRICINGBUYING

Vanta pricing, Drata pricing and Secureframe pricing are three of the most common searches from buyers pricing SOC 2 software. Here is what each vendor's own page said on 2026-09-29, side by side.

Published price

  • Vanta: none. Buyers request a free demo to get personalized pricing.
  • Drata: none. The plans page offers Get Personalized Pricing.
  • Secureframe: Fundamentals is "Starting at $7,500/year". Complete and Defense are quote-based.

  • Drata: Compliance Automation Foundation, GRC Advanced and GRC Enterprise, plus a separate Assurance platform with Trust Center tiers.
  • Secureframe: Fundamentals, Complete and Defense (for CMMC).

Entry plan contents

  • Drata Foundation: one pre-mapped framework from SOC 2, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, HIPAA or GDPR; pre-built integrations; Trust Center Standard; AI Questionnaire Assistance Standard.
  • Secureframe Fundamentals: one compliance framework, 300+ native integrations, infrastructure monitoring, evidence collection, personnel, risk and policy management, Trust Center, and access to the Secureframe Audit Partner Network.

  • Drata: up to 50 FTEs and one pre-mapped framework on Foundation.
  • Secureframe: one compliance framework on Fundamentals.

Add-ons and higher tiers

Drata names two Foundation add-ons: additional frameworks and user access reviews. Vanta adds Access Management on Plus and risk management, an Advanced Trust Center and custom tests on Professional. Secureframe's Complete adds advanced third-party risk management, user access reviews, questionnaire automation, SSO and SCIM and custom integrations.

Services and audit

  • Vanta: services through partners (vCISOs, MSPs, MSSPs); sells an Audit product and cites 26k audits completed with AICPA-peer reviewed auditors, a vendor figure.
  • Drata: services and auditors through 1300+ partners.
  • Secureframe: access to its Audit Partner Network on Fundamentals.

None of the three lists a penetration test on its pricing page, and none publishes an audit fee.

Integrations stated

Vanta says 400+ tools. Secureframe says 300+. Drata's integrations page says "hundreds of tools" without a count.

Which to price first

  • If you need one framework and want a published starting point, Secureframe Fundamentals is the only plan of the three with a number.
  • If you answer many security questionnaires, Vanta is the one of the three that publishes allowances, so you can pick the tier before the call.
  • If you are under 50 FTEs and need one of five common frameworks, Drata's Foundation card tells you it fits before anyone quotes.

How they score

On the price transparency ranking, among the seven vendors we cover, Secureframe ranks 1, Vanta 4 and Drata 5; on what the price buys they rank 2, 4 and 6. Secureframe leads on pricing transparency; Vanta on questionnaire allowance; Drata on stated plan limits. The pair pages show every row: Secureframe vs Vanta, Drata vs Vanta and Drata vs Secureframe.

What none of the three publishes

  • An audit fee.
  • The price of a second framework.
  • A headcount rule, apart from Drata's 50 FTE cap on Foundation.
  • A penetration test.

These are the lines to add to your quote request for all three, so the answers come back in the same form.

Six figures to ask for

Ask each vendor for the price of the tier the calculator suggests, the price of the next tier up, and the renewal terms. With those figures you can compare the three on the same basis, even though only one publishes a price.

The takeaway

Only one of the three gives you a number, but all three give you enough to choose the tier you should be quoted. Run your inputs through the calculator and ask each vendor for the same scope.
